Job Description

As an Oracle Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee a team of Consultants and Client personnel, guiding them through all phases of Oracle Fusion implementation projects. This role requires extensive project management expertise within a Consulting firm, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications and the ability to facilitate successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions, providing structure discipline, guidance and direction.

Working in partnership with a client-side project manager, the role involves a range of duties, including project planning, communication, coordination, issue management, risk reduction, escalation, and budget tracking. The individual will serve as a liaison between technical, functional, and client-side resources during implementation and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent project management and leadership abilities, and possess a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation of proposals and statements of work, develop project estimates, work plans, staffing plans and advise on implementation strategy.
• Manage information technology ERP projects/programs for client organizations and ensure project requirements are appropriately specified to allow timely, high-quality delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manage the agreed project plans and schedules.
• Estimate and qualify the resources needed to achieve ERP implementation success and on-going support goals.
• Identify and escalate critical implementation issues where Convelox expertise and partner influence may be required.
• Provide performance feedback to project team members. Coach, mentor and lead project team members, educating each in the methodology being used and their role in achieving success.
• Stay abreast of changes and improvements in Project Management and offer innovative ideas for improving ERP project management processes and methodologies that would give Convelox a competitive edge.

Mandatory Skills/requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Project Management.
• Must have managed 2-3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion cloud implementations.
• PMP Certification preferred
• Experience managing a consulting team of 10+ resources
• Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex Oracle Fusion Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies.
• High level functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Strong knowledge of implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP projects end to end.
• Strong experience in delivery and implementation working for a consultancy / systems integrator.
• Strong experience in managing budgets, commercials, and Customer experience.
• Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management
• Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Management, Business Administration, or related technical field.
