Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer on behalf of our client in Bangalore to join a dynamic team focused on enterprise database development, API integration, and performance optimization. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Oracle professional with expertise in PL/SQL programming, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), JSON data processing, and API development. Candidates should be based in Bangalore and available for occasional onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Design and improve Oracle database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
- Process, validate, transform, and manage structured and unstructured JSON datasets within Oracle Database.
- Integrate Oracle databases with external systems using REST APIs.
- Work extensively with Oracle JSON functionalities including JSON_TABLE, JSON_OBJECT, JSON_ARRAYAGG, and related features.
- Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks through tuning and optimization.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment scripts, and implementation guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Development and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and REST API development.
- Strong understanding of JSON data processing and Oracle JSON functions.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of database performance optimization, query tuning, and indexing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise-level database environments.
- Familiarity with system integrations and API-based architectures.
