AMK Group is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Oracle L1 DBA to join our dynamic team. This entry-level database administration role is ideal for individuals looking to embark on a rewarding career journey in database management. You will be responsible for providing essential Level 1 support, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for Oracle databases, addressing routine issues and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams as needed.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, operations, support) to address database-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle databases, assisting users with connectivity, access, and basic query-related problems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all database activities, configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Perform routine database health checks and proactive maintenance tasks.
• Assist in implementing minor database changes and patches under supervision.
• Adhere to established database policies, procedures, and security best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong foundational knowledge of Oracle database concepts.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
