Oracle L1 DBA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for Oracle databases, handling basic administration and support tasks
• Monitor database performance, availability, and health using standard tools
• Analyze performance metrics and identify potential issues or bottlenecks
• Respond to alerts and escalate complex issues to higher-level DBAs when required
• Collaborate with internal teams such as development and infrastructure to resolve database-related issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including backups, log monitoring, and system checks
• Assist in troubleshooting database errors and connectivity issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations, incidents, and resolutions
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices for database management
