Role: Oracle Integration Cloud -L2 /L3 Engineer

This is a hands-on integration engineering role. You will own the stability, performance, and reliability of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations across multiple mission-critical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage CI/CD pipelines for OIC packages, connectors, integration flows, and configuration deployments
- Lead application-level deployments across environments (DEV TEST PROD) with governance, validation, and rollback strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OIC integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and orchestration issues
- Implement code fixes, hot patches, and targeted remediations in OIC integrations, adapters, or supporting scripts
- Handle high-severity escalations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and deliver permanent fixes
- Optimize integration mappings, schedules, orchestration patterns, and error-handling frameworks
- Design and oversee monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for integration health and performance
- Review and enforce integration standards, patterns, naming conventions, and versioning practices
- Mentor junior engineers and act as the highest technical escalation point for OIC
- Collaborate with Application, DevOps, SRE, and Product teams to ensure reliable, frictionless releases
- Participate in 247 production support and incident response rotations
Required Skills & Competencies
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud
- (Integrations, Processes/PCS, VBCS, File Server, Connectivity Agents)
- Strong experience implementing OIC CI/CD pipelines using Git and tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Advanced debugging skills for integration flows, mappings, XSLT transformations, and adapter configurations
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, authentication mechanisms, certificates, and tokens
- Ability to deliver rapid and safe hot fixes with proper change documentation
- Solid grasp of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), retries, fault tolerance, and resilient design
- Experience building monitoring and alerting for integrations (logs, metrics, traces)
- Strong engineering fundamentals: version control, automation, security, and performance tuning
- Ability to drive technical discussions with Oracle Support and internal engineering teams
- Clear, confident communicator who remains calm in high-pressure production scenarios
Nice to Have
- Experience with APM tools, observability platforms, or SRE-style incident management
- Exposure to SFCC, ERP, OMS, or e-commerce integration ecosystems
- Background in Python, Groovy, or scripting for automation and tooling support
