Job Description
We are looking for of 8+ years of an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher (BIP), and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The candidate will lead technical design, integrations, extensions, reporting, and data migration activities across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Primary Skill
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Fusion UI extensions and custom applications using VBCS, ensuring scalable and secure architecture.
- Architect and implement seamless integrations between VBCS and Oracle Fusion Cloud using REST APIs, and Fusion extensibility frameworks.
- Implement complex business logic, validations, and user workflows within VBCS applications aligned with Fusion business processes.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, and manage end-to-end delivery including SIT, UAT, and go-live.
- Enhance Oracle Fusion UI through VBCS-based extensions.
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Design, develop, and support OIC integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party systems.
- Build REST and SOAP based integrations using OIC adapters.
- Implement fault handling, tracking, lookups, enrichment, and orchestration patterns.
- Support real-time and scheduled integrations across HCM, Financials, SCM, and Projects.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance.
BI Publisher (BIP) & Reporting
- Develop complex BI Publisher reports using SQL, XML, and RTF templates.
- Configure bursting, scheduling, and security for reports.
- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements.
Data Conversion & Migration
- Lead data migration using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and FBDI.
- Prepare conversion templates, validation logic, and reconciliation reports.
- Support cutover and go-live activities.
Technical Architecture & Leadership
- Design scalable Oracle Fusion technical architecture.
- Prepare technical design documents, solution documents, and integration specifications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support for issue resolution.
- Participate in technical interviews and team building.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of Oracle Applications experience with minimum of 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- BI Publisher (BIP)
- Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
- Experience with Oracle Fusion modules:
- HCM, Financials, SCM, Projects, CX
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Groovy Scripting
- Experience with HDL, FBDI, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas
Good to Have
- OTBI and OTBI reports
- Oracle PaaS / OCI (ATP, ADB, Object Storage)
- Oracle APEX, JDeveloper
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Exposure to DevOps and SDLC best practices
EDUCATION
- B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA (or equivalent)
