Job Description

As an Expert Technical Architect within Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS), you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class technical architecture and solutions across Oracle Fusion HCM and CX environments. In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery, mentor junior team members, and own resolution of complex/escalated technical issuesenabling customers to maximize value through upgrade-safe extensions, robust integrations, and high-quality reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (functional consultants, integration teams, security, and customer IT) to ensure successful outcomes using Oracle Cloud technical tools such as VBCS, APEX, Visual Builder Studio (VBS) (including VBS-based CX HelpDesk extensions), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher (BIP), and OTBI. A key focus of the role is driving AI-powered automation and innovative experiences using Fusion AI Agent Studio, including identifying use cases, designing and operationalizing agents, and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end technical solutioning and delivery for Fusion HCM and CX requirements
Design and deliver HCM Extracts (including template design, scheduling, delivery mechanisms, and troubleshooting) to support downstream integrations and reporting needs
Build and govern VBS-based HelpDesk (CX) extensions (UI/UX, object modeling, security, deployment pipelines) aligned to Oracle best practices
Implement integrations using OIC (REST/SOAP, file-based patterns, orchestration, exception handling, monitoring, and operational readiness)
Manage data loads and data maintenance via HDL/HSDL define repeatable, controlled load processes
Deliver and optimize reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) (data models, layouts, bursting, performance tuning)
Leverage PL/SQL where applicable for approved staging/transform/reporting patterns
Drive AI-powered automation using Fusion AI Agent Studio (use-case identification, agent design, orchestration, rollout, and KPI tracking)
Provide technical leadership: estimates, planning, risk/issue management, design/code reviews, documentation, and mentoring
Represent CSS in architecture design workshops, solution governance, and executive steering committees.
Prepare, review, and deliver architectural designs, technical documentation, security/compliance assessments, and strategic recommendations for Oracle and client executives.
Collaborate with Oracle Product Management/Support to escalate, resolve, and proactively influence Oracle roadmap priorities.
Ensure all architecture and integration solutions meet Oracle security, privacy, and compliance guidelines.

Role Requirements:
10+ years overall IT experience with significant experience in Oracle Fusion SaaS technical delivery
Hands-on expertise in HCM Extracts and VBS for HelpDesk (CX)
Advanced experience with: VBCS, APEX, VBS, OIC, HDL, HSDL, OTBI, BIP, Fusion AI Agent Studio
Strong troubleshooting skills across integrations, extracts, and reporting ability to drive root-cause analysis and preventive fixes
Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Groovy scripting, XML/XSLT, REST APIs, and related Oracle Cloud development tools..
Proven experience owning technical architecture, solution design, and delivery leadership for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and CX implementations/enhancements
Strong understanding of upgrade-safe extensibility and enterprise integration patterns, with focus on secure, supportable designs
Demonstrated capability to lead teams and drive outcomes across build, test, release, and hypercare
Experience working in enterprise environments with strong governance, security, and change control
Experience delivering in regulated/controlled environments familiarity with audit-ready documentation and operational controls
Exposure to CI/CD and release governance for VBS/VBCS assets

Desirable:
Certifications in Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), technical tools, or Fusion AI Agent Studio.
Experience with multi-country implementations, data compliance, or high-volume enterprise environments.
Exposure to broader Oracle Cloud suites (ERP, SCM), or third-party HCM integrations.
