Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to join our ERP implementation/support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials modules and a strong understanding of end-to-end finance business processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
The role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financial applications, gathering business requirements, designing functional solutions, and providing post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in end-to-end implementations of Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Work with business users to analyze requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Configure and support core Fusion Finance modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Expense Management
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and collaborate with technical teams for customizations, reports, and integrations.
- Perform data migration activities, validation, and reconciliation.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare end-user training materials.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide resolution.
- Work closely with Oracle Support (SR management) for issue resolution.
- Stay up to date with Oracle quarterly updates (Patches / R13 / R14+ versions) and assess the impact on business processes.
- Participate in upgrade, enhancement, and rollout projects as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Strong functional knowledge in at least 3 of the following modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses.
- Experience with end-to-end implementation cycles and post-production support.
- Ability to map business processes to Fusion Financials functionalities.
- Good understanding of integration points with SCM, Procurement, and Projects modules.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS).
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to lead discussions and workshops.
- Oracle Certification (Fusion Financials Cloud) is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to multi-currency and multi-entity setups.
- Understanding of localization requirements (tax, statutory reporting).
- Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery models.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools or RPA integration for finance operations is a plus.
