Job Title: Oracle Transportation Management Functional Consultant

Rotational Shift Timings :- 6 AM to 3PM , 1PM to 10 PM , 9:30 PM to 6AM (Rotational)
Role Overview: Oracle Transportation Management Functional Consultant will be providing secondlevel functional support for OTM Module. This Role focuses on resolving functional break-fix incidents and data integrity issues, primarily by executing well-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities include providing support during month-end close, assisting in smoke testing, performing in-depth root cause analysis for recurring & non-recurring issues, and supporting new enhancements/projects by taking knowledge transitions from the product teams, all while continuously identifying opportunities to automate these SOP-driven tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as functional escalation points for Oracle Transportation Management Functional Consultant.
- Analyse and resolve medium to complex functional issues that cannot be resolved by L1 support.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and support permanent fixes.
- Resolve functional break-fix calls either permanently or by workaround
- Handle issues related to data in the production instance
- Follow up on SRs, patches, and issues to ensure resolution
- Conduct training for power users on the application and support functionalities
- Conduct root cause analysis and error detection/correction
- Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for priority / critical day-to-day operational issues
- Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for month-close activities
- Monitor integrations for data leakage and error handling
- Perform smoke testing after planned/unplanned system outages to ensure stability
- Resolve functional issues related to OTM.
- Monitor daily OTM processes such as Order release creation, Shipment planning, Tendering, Event updates, Freight settlement flow
- Validate and troubleshoot failed jobs, automation agent errors, and process delays.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 510 years of functional support experience in OTM and Strong handson expertise in Shipment planning, Tendering and communication, Rate Management, Execution & Tracking, Freight Payment.
- Ability to perform RCA and functional troubleshooting independently.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a 24x7 or enterprise support environment
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and escalate issues effectively.
- Knowledge is ITIL is must.
