Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Oracle Forms Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle Forms and Reports. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms 10g/11g/12c, and Oracle Reports, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems as well as build new solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable PL/SQL code for data processing and validation.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Oracle Forms applications.
- Modify and enhance existing Oracle Forms modules to improve performance and functionality.
- Conduct unit and integration testing of developed code and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to application architecture decisions.
- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices.
- Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:Must Have:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and change management processes.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Oracle APEX or other web-based development platforms.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Java or web services integration.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
