Oracle EBS Technical Lead (CONTRACT)

Start Date: Immediate

Location: India

Duration: 12 months

Travel: Fully Remote

Time Zone: Central European Timezone (CET)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP EBS R12 Technical Lead to design, develop, and support Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, drive solution architecture, and ensure high-quality delivery of Oracle ERP enhancements, integrations, and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of technical solutions within Oracle EBS R12
  • Manage and mentor a team of Oracle technical developers
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain custom components such as:
  • Reports (XML Publisher, BI Publisher)
  • Interfaces
  • Conversions
  • Extensions
  • Workflows (RICEW components)
  • Oversee performance tuning and optimization of PL/SQL and SQL queries
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using APIs, Web Services, and middleware
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation
  • Support data migration, patching, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12)
  • Strong expertise in:
  • PL/SQL, SQL
  • Oracle Forms & Reports
  • XML/BI Publisher
  • Oracle Workflow
  • Hands-on experience with RICEW components
  • Experience with Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, and Concurrent Programs
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (Finance, SCM, HRMS, etc.)
  • Experience in performance tuning and debugging
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
