Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12i and Oracle databases (11g/12c)
- Perform single-node and multi-node cloning of Oracle EBS instances using Normal and Shared Application Top Architecture
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Concurrent Manager problems, performance issues, and errors
- Act as the day-to-day technical lead for developer enhancements and problem resolution
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements
- Deploy code and configuration changes to production environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and system errors affecting global systems availability and operation
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, products, and tools for the application development environment
- Analyze performance issues across application, Concurrent Manager, and database tiers of EBS installations
- Collaborate with technical teams on database query tuning, patch review, configuration, and code migration
- Manage relationships with customers to understand needs, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions
- Provide on-call support as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of Oracle EBS administration experience supporting production environments in multi-node, multi-tier data centers
- Recent experience with Oracle Database 19c and EBS version R12.x
- Proficient in instance patching, cloning, refreshing, backup, and recovery procedures
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS and application performance tuning
- Deep understanding of EBS R12.2 architecture including ADOP concepts, dual file system architecture, FMW concepts, PCP, concurrent managers, workflow, and application infrastructure layout
- Experience with UNIX, Shell, and Perl scripting
- Expertise in Oracle EBS Sysadmin setup tasks, including responsibility, forms, function, menu, and user configuration
- Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments and work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware administration and OBIEE
- Advanced scripting skills in Perl, Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL for alerts, monitoring, reporting, and auditing
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other enterprise RDBMS systems
