Oracle EBS / Fusion Technical Consultant

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS / Fusion Technical Consultant with expertise in data conversions, data extractions, customizations, and report development for Oracle Fusion Applications, specifically centred around Accounts Receivables Module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EBS and extensive experience in migrating data to Oracle Fusion, as well as customizing and building reports on both PaaS and SaaS environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data conversion and extraction activities from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Develop and implement customizations on Oracle Fusion Applications using PaaS (Platform as a Service) environment.
• Strong SQL/ PLSQL skills
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop data migration scripts, interfaces, and integration solutions.
• Build and customize BI Publisher (BIP) reports based on both PaaS and SaaS databases.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and quality during conversions and extractions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and end-users.
• Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Stay updated on Oracle Fusion Applications technology advancements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant.
• Extensive experience with data conversions and extractions from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion PaaS environment for customizations.
• Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) for report development.
• Experience working with both PaaS and SaaS databases.
• Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications architecture and data models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Oracle certifications in Fusion Middleware or relevant areas are a plus.
