Job Responsibilities:
Oracle EBS Finance (AR)
- Provide functional expertise in Oracle EBS Finance, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Configure and support AR modules related to invoicing, receipts, credit memos, and revenue accounting.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
EDI & B2B Integrations
- Design, implement, and support EDI integrations within Oracle EBS.
- Hands-on experience implementing EDI 810 (Outbound Invoice) transactions in Oracle EBS.
- Lead EDI enablement projects involving multiple trading partners.
- Define and manage EDI mappings, partner setups, and document standards.
- Handle error handling, retries, reconciliation, and monitoring of EDI transactions.
- Collaborate with business users, EDI partners, and third-party vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
Leadership & Communication
- Act as a lead consultant for EDI-related initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Middleware, and external partners.
- Provide clear documentation, status updates, and effective stakeholder communication.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite, with a strong focus on EDI integrations.
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven hands-on experience with EDI 810 outbound implementation in Oracle EBS.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards, processes, mappings, acknowledgments, and transaction lifecycles.
- Experience with EDI error handling, retries, monitoring, and support models.
- Demonstrated success in leading EDI enablement projects using B2B integration solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with EDI trading partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience enabling EDI using OpenText B2B Integration.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related middleware technologies.
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS with external systems via middleware platforms.
- Prior experience in high-volume transaction environments.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of other EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 820).
- Exposure to Oracle EBS technical components (XML Gateway, BI Publisher, APIs).
- Experience in global or multi-entity Oracle EBS implementations.
