Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Core HR, Absence Management, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle EBS R12 HRMS implementations and support, strong functional configuration skills, and the ability to independently work with business stakeholders through the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Oracle EBS R12 HRMS implementations and production support for:
  • Core HR
  • Absence Management
  • Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)
  • SSHR
  • Independently configure and maintain Core HR, Absence, and OTL modules in line with business requirements.
  • Gather business requirements through workshops and discussions with stakeholders and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Design and configure complex and very complex business processes in Core HR, SSHR, and Absence modules.
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including:
  • BR100 (Business Requirements)
  • MD050 (Functional Design Documents)
  • Setup documents and configuration workbooks
  • Execute and support:
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Production go-live and post-go-live support
  • Configure and manage:
  • Key Flexfields (KFFs)
  • Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs)
  • Date-track functionality
  • Special Information Types (SITs)
  • Extra Information Types (EITs)
  • HR work structures
  • Manage Oracle HRMS security, including user access, roles, responsibilities, and HR security profiles.
  • Maintain and configure HR lookups as per business needs.
  • Support and design integrations with third-party applications (inbound and outbound).
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).
  • Act as a functional subject-matter expert and mentor junior team members when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 510 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps HRMS Functional Consultant.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 HRMS modules, especially:
  • Core HR
  • Absence Management
  • OTL
  • SSHR
  • Deep expertise in HRMS configurations, security, and data structures.
  • Be able to independently engage with business users for requirement gathering, SIT execution and UAT support
  • Strong Functional experience in set up and configurations (Core HR & Absence at least) including design documents (BR100, MD050 etc)
  • Experience working on third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle HRMS architecture and business flows.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
