Job Title: Oracle Pro*C Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Shift Timing :- 4:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST
**Pro*C, Oracle, PL SQL, Linux is mandatory skills**
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize best practices for developing, testing, and deploying Pro*C code.
- Develop reusable functions and C based core libraries.
- Help build and foster an open standard approach to the development lifecycle.
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient and is able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion.
- Must have a strong programming background authoring well-written, well documented, modular and unit tested clean code.
- Must be well organized, a good communicator, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage your projects from concept to production.
- Must be well able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multitask, and quickly adapt to change.
- Possess leadership skills and ability to be led in a manner that is healthy to our positive and productive work environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Education: bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar.
- Previous experience as an Oracle Pro*C developer in a high-volume transaction-based processing system.
- At least 10+ years of strong software engineering experience.
- 5 years of hands-on Linux scripting and administration or experience with managing middleware application technologies is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with deployment of enterprise scale software.
- Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality.
- Experience delivering solutions using Agile Scrum.
- Working knowledge of Git/GitHub Enterprise and Jira/Confluence
