We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PL/SQL, Oracle Database development, and web application technologies, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using Oracle APEX.
- Create, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
- Build responsive, user-friendly APEX pages, forms, reports, dashboards, and interactive grids.
- Integrate APEX applications with external systems using RESTful Web Services, ORDS, JSON, XML, etc.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and application optimization.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, roles, and data protection.
- Maintain documentation of technical designs, workflows, and system configurations.
- Support existing applications and provide production issue resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle APEX (19c/21c/22c or higher).
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other web technologies.
- Experience working with REST APIs, ORDS, and data integration.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with APEX plug-ins, dynamic actions, and custom JavaScript components.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of BI tools (Oracle BI, Power BI) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
