Oracle DBA Admin

Educational Qualification:

• BE/B.Tech (any branch) / MCA / M.Tech / MSC IT / MSC CS / MCM

Work Environment:

• 24/7 Support Environment
• 6 days a week (Monthly Twice)
• Banking industry experience (Good to have)
• Documents required for BV purpose (Must have EPFO service history records with supporting documents for past 5 years)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Must have experience in Oracle 19C + RAC + Data Guard
• Resolving user-related queries in Production and Test Databases
• Creating new users and assigning profiles in production databases as per client requests
• User management and maintenance of all database users, granting privileges as per client policy
• Logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility as per user requests
• Database bug-patching as required
• Creating SQL tuning sets and SQL tuning advisory reports using OEM 12C to improve database performance
• Executing weekly analyzer on database for performance improvement
• Monthly purging activity to improve database space
• Archival activity for performance improvement
• Performance monitoring, database installation, and configuration
• Schedule RMAN backup and monitor RMAN status of all production databases
• Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows, Network, Storage, Monitoring, etc.
• Document issues and associated resolutions
• Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers
• Conduct training for users, customers, and teams
• Guide/mentor team members on technical problems beyond their level
• Ensure systems, organization processes, and unit practices adhere to organizational policies
• Active participation in organization and unit-level initiatives
