Responsibilities:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Oracle 19c/12c/11gR2/11gR1/10g/9i Installation, Configuration of Oracle on UNIX (Sun/Linux), Windows 2012/2016/2019 and ODA X6-2 and X8-2.
- Security Patching of Oracle and MSSQL Databases, Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle data Integrator.
- Provide Linux/ODA SA support.
- Daily monitoring of all banks hosted databases & database health through OEM 13C.
- Ensure all database servers are backed up to meet the Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
- Day-to-day Incident management and support of the company Database and BAU activities.
- Security patches, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance configuration remediation.
- Provide after-hours support for EOD process on rotational basis (monthly).
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database and application development release.
- Produce comprehensive system documentation.
- Adhere to established SLAs in responding to and completing service tickets, including providing a high level of customer support, detailed root cause analysis, and trouble reports for system outages.
- Adhere to established departmental operational policies and procedures.
- Act as a contact person for Oracle database, Oracle Business Intelligence during installation, production changes.
- Build Test databases, release fixes deploy necessary modifications to development, QA environments and follow change control process.
- Create and test scripts to automate all database related backup jobs and monitoring of the databases.
- Develop and implement system, processes, and security standards.
