Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of AVDF on all financial databases.
- Design and architect the AVDF solution for various databases supporting applications like EBS, Webcenter, ORMB, DWH, etc.
- Implement database security solutions in OCI, Azure, and AWS cloud environments.
- Manage migration of database security solutions from On-Premises to Cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, and AWS.
- Provide expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery.
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks within OCI, including:
- Backup and recovery strategies.
- Database security (encryption, access control, auditing).
- Monitoring and performance tuning of EBS and databases.
- Patching, cloning, and applying updates to EBS and Oracle Database environments.
- Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for routine maintenance, backups, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support patching, disaster recovery planning, and other critical business processes.
- Ensure systems adhere to OCI best practices for security and compliance, including auditing and monitoring solutions.
- Manage security and compliance activities such as:
- Auditing of all databases.
- Remediation of audit observations from internal and external auditors.
- Vulnerability monitoring and remediation using MMC standard tools like QVM, ATOM.
- Tracking and renewing security certificates.
- Applying critical security patch updates.
- Enforcing quarterly password changes as per SOX policies.
- Generating SOX audit reports detailing changes implemented on production environments and coordinating with application owners.
- Coordinating with D&T external audit teams and providing required evidence for audit queries.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of DB Security tools: AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, and TDE.
- Strong DBA skills with expertise in Oracle technologies.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts on Linux/Unix and Wintel operating systems.
- Good knowledge of network architecture.
- Understanding of load balancers, VIP, DNS, and certificate renewals.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with audit and compliance teams effectively.
