Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
Experience: 8–12 Years
Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Database, and GoldenGate technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing database performance, as well as supporting data replication and migration across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Manage and optimize Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) instances, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and integration.
- Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Conduct performance tuning, space management, and query optimization.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams for database design and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Automate regular DBA tasks and improve operational efficiency through scripting and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ADW (Autonomous Data Warehouse) and GoldenGate.
- Strong skills in Oracle Database Administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery (RMAN).
- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with high availability (RAC, Data Guard) and disaster recovery setups.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.
