The Oracle Database Administrator will perform database migration from existing on prem datacenters to Oracle Cloud (ExaCC / ExaCS) with minimal to no downtime utilizing technologies including Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate. The DBA will monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance. Perform fail-over testing; implement database patches and upgrades; and demonstrate expert level knowledge of networks, storage, encryption, security, cloud and backup and recovery technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must have experience with:
- 7+ years installing and administering Oracle databases including: 11g, 12c, and 19c on AIX and LINUX platforms
- 5+ years administering Oracle databases in both OLTP and data warehouse environments
- 5+ years installing and administering ASM
- 5+ years installing and administering RAC
- 3 years installing and administering Oracle CDB/PDB databases
- 1 year experience with Oracle database migration from on-prem to ExaCS/ExaCC utilizing Zero Downtime Migration
- 5 years with backup and restore techniques for databases of at least 5TB
- 2 years in configuring backups, backing up, and restoring databases with backup solutions including NetBackup, EMC Networker, and DDBoost
- 5 years with performance tuning, problem diagnosis, and resolution in Oracle database environments
- 5 years in troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including application server, network, storage, and operating system component/layer
- 3 Years configuring and administering Oracle Transparent Database Encryption (TDE) utilizing HSM based key storage
- 5 years with database migration technologies to rehost and upgrade Oracle databases with minimal downtime
- 3 year installing, configuring, and administering Oracle GoldenGate two-way replication with CDR and Automatic CDR
- 3 years with others replication technologies including: Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and Streams
- 3 years installing and configuring database utilities, including Oracle Enterprise Manager
- 3 years with shell scripting
- 3 years with SQL
- 3 years IT service management or ITIL utilizing Remedy and Service Now
- Hands-on experience with database tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and database automation.
- Understanding of data modeling and ER diagrams.
- Certifications such as Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP).
