Job description

Experience in working on Oracle database 12c, 19c database administration and Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, RAC, ASM)

Experience in Applying Grid and DB PSU patch in multi-node RAC cluster servers and Installation

Database and Grid upgrade from 12c to 19c version on Linux/AIX platforms

Experience in database migration on-prem and cloud

Hands-on with Database tuning, slowness and troubleshooting performance issues

Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery and perform database refresh

Experience in setup and configuration of Oracle Active Dataguard for standby/DR environment

Good knowledge on Database security and encryption like TDE, masking

Automation for day to day administration activities through shell scripting and OEM

Experience in working on Oracle OEM Grid control to manage database and add new targets, OEM patching and upgrade

Having experience on Goldengate setup, configuration for unidirectional and bi-directional replication and troubleshooting data lag and sync issues

Good to have knowledge and hands on Oracle Exadata and Oracle database appliance (ODA)

Experience in performing DR drill and database restoration test as per customer defined process

Experience on Azure and AWS Cloud will be preferred

Experience in applying system patching and database maintenance on ODA and Exadata
