Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Support DBA to manage, monitor, maintain, and support Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high availability of Oracle databases across business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle Database environments (11g, 12c, 19c, and above).
• Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities using RMAN.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, locks, deadlocks, and production incidents.
• Manage database security, user accounts, roles, and privileges.
• Implement database maintenance activities including statistics gathering and index management.
• Perform database cloning, migration, and refresh activities.
• Support Data Guard environments for High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
• Monitor storage utilization and database capacity planning.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and change management processes.
