Job Description:-

Responsibilities:

• Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software 12c,19c & other releases.

• Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.

• Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.

• Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.

• Creating autonomous database backups.

• Regularly updating the database security protocols.

• Cloning production databases for UAT and QA testing.

• Refreshing current database to clone database through datapump utilities (Exp/Imp).

• Creating ASM instance in RAC.

• Creating and managing Oracle DATAGUARD

• Knowledge of Failover mechanism on dataguard (as A/A, A/S)

• Creating the Cluster Database.

• Oracle 19c Installation and configuration.

• Enabling and Disabling instances

• Adding or Remove Node from RAC.

• Troubleshoot performance issues for the RAC instances (GC events)

• Resolving /Diagnose Node Eviction.

• Proven work experience as a Database administrator.

• Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.

• Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.

• Knowledge of programming languages and API.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to visualize algorithmic structures

•Excellent knowledge in backup recovery and performance tuning.

• know some of the scripting languages like shell, Perl, python.

Soft Skills:

• Managing customer interface and OEM vendors (Mainly Oracle)

• Communication skills to manage all stakeholders.
