Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Position: Oracle Database Administrator

Experience: 10+ Years

Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with expertise in latest Oracle versions,

performance tuning, backup & recovery, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle DB (12c/19c/21c or later)

- Manage production, staging, and development databases

- Perform performance tuning and query optimization

- Implement RMAN/Data Guard/Backup & Recovery strategies

- Maintain High Availability & Disaster Recovery (RAC, DG)

- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues

- Support development teams for DB-related needs

- Ensure database security and user management

- Automate tasks using Shell/Python scripting

Technical Skills:

- Oracle 12c/19c/21c, SQL, PL/SQL

- RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, OEM

- Linux/Unix proficiency

- Cloud DB knowledge (AWS/Azure/OCI) is a plus

Soft Skills:

- Analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and teamwork

Education:

- Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field

- OCP/OCM certifications preferre
