Job Description

Duties of Position:

4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration of 11i and R12 applications with Database 11g & 12c
Strong working experience in monitoring, performance tuning, and production support
Experience managing very large, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle databases
Expertise in major versions of the Oracle tech stack including:
Database
iAS
Forms
Reports
PL/SQL
Java
Enterprise Manager
SOA
WebLogic
JVM
Hands-on experience with AD utilities including ADPatch and Autoconfig
Experience in database installations and upgrades
Proficient in ASM and Data Guard setups
Experience in database backups and recovery using Data Guard
Ability to develop scripts for task scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance
Knowledge in RAC (Real Application Clusters) is a plus
Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend/on-call support
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
