Oracle Database Administrator 3

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration of 11i and R12 applications with Database versions 11g & 12c.
• Strong working experience in monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.
• Experience in managing large-scale, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle Databases.
• Expertise across major versions of the technology stack including:
• Oracle Database
• iAS
• Forms & Reports
• PL/SQL
• Java
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• SOA
• WebLogic
• JVM
• Hands-on experience with tools/utilities:
• ADPatch
• AutoConfig utility
• AD utilities
• Experience with Database Installations and Upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and Data Guard.
• Strong knowledge of database backups and disaster recovery using Data Guard.
• Ability to develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Exposure to RAC (Real Application Clusters) is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend on-call support.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external customers.
