Job Title: Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) Consultant

Location: Bangalore / Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) Consultant with 10+ years of overall Oracle ecosystem experience and a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on expertise in BIP development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to design, develop, optimize, and support BIP reports and integrations. This role requires close collaboration with functional and technical teams while working independently to ensure highquality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) reports, templates, and data models.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to analyze reporting requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues across data models, templates, and bursting logic.
• Develop complex queries, XML/RTF templates, and data sources for dynamic reporting needs.
• Work with Oracle Fusion/Cloud or EBusiness Suite (as applicable) to integrate and validate BIP outputs.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reporting by performing thorough unit testing and validation.
• Support endtoend development lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Maintain documentation for reports, configurations, and technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Identify improvements in reporting processes, automation, and data model structures.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of overall experience in Oracle technologies.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) with SCM

experience.

- Strong expertise in XML, XSLT, RTF templates, layout editor, and data model creation.

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for report data extraction and transformation.

- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle EBS reporting frameworks.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and performancetuning skills.

- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with technical and business

stakeholders.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Excellent documentation, communication, and problemsolving abilities.
