Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle BI Apps Financials Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Oracle BI Applications, and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Oracle EBS Financials, SCM modules, along with strong capabilities in ETL development, BI reporting, and analytics solution development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop OBIEE RPD models, dashboards, and custom reports based on business requirements.
- Build interactive dashboards and analytical reports for Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and HRMS domains.
- Implement and manage Oracle BI Applications lifecycle, including DAC-based ETL metadata management, RPD development, and report/dashboard creation.
- Configure and manage OBIEE 10g/11g architecture and security using WebLogic Admin Console and Enterprise Manager.
- Implement MUDE (Multi-User Development Environment) using Oracle BI Administration Tool.
- Develop ad-hoc queries, reports, and dashboards using OBIEE dimensional hierarchies.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including LDAP, database authentication, external authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Design and implement Data Warehouses and Data Marts, including business requirement gathering, system analysis, and data modeling.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, including mappings, workflows, and transformations.
- Design ETL execution plans and scheduling using DAC (Data Warehouse Administration Console).
- Configure, monitor, and manage ETL processes in Oracle BI Applications environments.
- Optimize and tune large-volume ETL and reporting processes for better performance.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle BI / OBIEE / Oracle Analytics.
- Strong experience with Siebel Analytics, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), and Oracle BI Applications.
- Expertise in Financial Analytics, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement & Spend Analytics, and HRMS Analytics.
- Strong experience working with Oracle EBS Financials, SCM, and HRMS modules.
- Experience in developing custom reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using OBIEE.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Extensive experience in ETL development for Oracle EBS R12 data warehouse implementations.
- Strong understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), incremental loads, and ETL performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter tools.
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data analytics services.
- Exposure to BigQuery or cloud-based data warehouse platforms.
- Experience in BI solution architecture and enterprise reporting environments.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions.
