We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, specifically in managing Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Applications and databases.
- Perform database backup and recovery operations.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures.
- Manage user access and security for Oracle Applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-9 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
