Oracle Apps DBA2
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EBS R12.2.x system administration, including Concurrent Manager administration tasks.
- Handle Oracle Database Administration (12c/19c), including installation, configuration, and tuning.
- Manage patching, cloning, and upgrades of Oracle EBS and database environments.
- Implement and monitor backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Work with ITSM tools and ensure proactive monitoring of database and application performance.
- Perform Unix/Linux system administration tasks and develop shell scripts to automate routine activities.
- Support Oracle WebLogic Server administration (a plus).
- Provide 24x7 production support and troubleshoot critical issues in a high-availability environment.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA handling EBS environments.
- Strong expertise in EBS R12.2.x system administration.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration (12c/19c).
- Proficiency in patching, cloning, and backup/recovery techniques (RMAN, Data Pump, etc.).
- Experience working with ITSM tools and monitoring database/application performance.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting.
- Understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server (preferred).
- Ability to work in 24x7 production support environments.
