Primary Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) / Applications DBA (EBS / OBIEE / OFSA)
About The Opportunity
A leading IT Services & ERP support practice serving large enterprise customers across finance, manufacturing and retail verticals. We deliver end-to-end Oracle ERP application administration, analytics support and high-availability database services to ensure resilient, performant business-critical systems. This is an on-site role based in India, focused on operational excellence and rapid incident resolution for production Oracle landscapes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite environments: patching, cloning, provisioning, and lifecycle management of EBS instances.
- Manage Oracle databases: installation, upgrades, performance tuning, SQL optimization and schema management for production and non-production systems.
- Implement and operate high-availability solutions including Oracle RAC and Data Guard; lead failover and DR rehearsals.
- Support OBIEE and OFSA integrations: deploy, tune and troubleshoot reporting/analytics layers and data flows.
- Design and maintain backup and recovery strategies; perform RMAN-based restores and verify backup integrity and retention policies.
- Automate routine tasks, build operational runbooks, monitor system health, and coordinate deployments with application and network teams.

Must-Have (technical skills)

Preferred (experience & Certifications)
- Experience with RMAN, Enterprise Manager and shell scripting for automation
- Hands-on with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and WebLogic/Fusion Middleware administration
- Oracle certification (OCP) or equivalent production EBS/DBA experience
