Oracle Apex Developer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle APEX application development, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and responsive web applications. You will play a key role in delivering seamless user experiences, integrating external services, and ensuring data integrity through advanced PL/SQL logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive web applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring a seamless user experience through dynamic UI components, AJAX-based interactions, and conditional rendering.

• Write complex PL/SQL logic, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers to manage critical business processes such as subscription lifecycles and enforce secure business rules.

• Integrate with third-party services, such as Cybersource Payment Gateway, using SOAP and RESTful APIs for secure transaction processing, including authentication, XML/JSON parsing, and response handling.

• Utilize Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to expose and consume RESTful web services, enabling real-time data exchange between APEX and external systems.

• Work with APEX Collections, JSON_TABLE, and CLOB parsing to process, store, and present dynamic API-driven content within APEX applications.

• Collaborate across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, UI/UX design, development, testing (including UAT), deployment, and ongoing maintenance/support.

• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and compliance with coding standards and best practices.

• Document code, processes, and procedures for ongoing knowledge sharing and future enhancements.

• Integration with Fusion Applications (P2P, O2C, GL Module, BIP Report) for seamless data exchange and business process alignment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.

• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development.

• Solid experience in integrating with external APIs (SOAP and REST), handling authentication protocols, and parsing JSON/XML data.

• Hands-on experience with ORDS, APEX Collections, and advanced SQL techniques.

• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery within the APEX framework.

• Experience managing complex business logic and transactional operations at the database level.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
