Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist located in Coimbatore. The Optometrist will be responsible for performing refractions, assisting with cataract workups, conducting patient history-taking, and carrying out general optometric tests and assessments. The role also includes working closely with patients to provide high-quality eye care and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in refraction, cataract workups, and thorough history-taking
- Strong knowledge of general optometric tests and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Attention to detail and the ability to document accurate patient information
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Optometry or an equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in an ophthalmic or clinical setting is an advantage
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism in patient care
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment in Coimbatore
