Role Description

We're looking for an experienced optometrist professional to join our retail operations. The role requires the optometrist to examine and diagnose eyes and other parts of the visual system as well as treat visual problems and manage/suggest diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eyes by prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed

Key Responsibilities

Perform complete eye testing and explanation, following all standard steps of eye check-up.

Ensure all equipment is in working condition and properly calibrated before use.

Advise suitable products and give progressive measurements accurately as per requirement.

It will be mandatory to take old history and cross-check previous records from the system before eye testing.

Handle complications confidently and assist with contact lens practice, explanation, and selling.

Check all orders before sending to workshop, cross-check parcels from/for companies, and maintain contact lens and solution stock (also check near expiry).

Rectify wrong records in the system, maintain return and prescription records, and coordinate with sales for a smooth customer experience.

• Communication skills strong both listening and explaining to customers/patients.
• Skilled in the maintenance and calibration of diagnostic instruments
