Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role located in Vadodara. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision conditions, and provide personalized recommendations for corrective lenses or other treatments. Additional responsibilities include counseling patients on eye health, assisting in the selection of eyewear, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the overall customer experience in-store. The role also involves staying up-to-date with vision care advancements and maintaining compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of optometry practices, including comprehensive eye examinations and vision correction
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests, identify eye disorders, and recommend relevant treatments or eyewear solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and ensure a positive experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining patient records and conducting examinations
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in optometry
- Valid Optometry license (as per regional regulations)
- Experience in retail optical settings and familiarity with eyewear products is a plus
