Role Description
Lenskart is seeking a qualified Optometrist for an on-site, full-time role based in Gujarat, India. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision impairments, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing expert advice regarding eye health. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, assisting customers with frame and lens selection, and ensuring compliance with professional and company standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting detailed eye examinations and diagnosing vision problems
- Expertise in prescribing corrective lenses and developing personalized treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Organizational skills to manage patient records and support operational efficiency
- Ability to educate patients on eye health and promote appropriate eyewear solutions
- Degree in Optometry or related field from a recognized institution
- License to practice as an optometrist in India
- Prior experience in a retail optical setup is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with modern optical equipment and basic digital platforms
