Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, based in Coimbatore. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye conditions, and provide personalized recommendations for corrective lenses and eyewear solutions. Additional responsibilities include educating customers on eye care, maintaining accurate patient records, operating diagnostic equipment, and ensuring a high standard of service. The Optometrist will collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while adhering to professional and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting eye exams, diagnosing visual conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses.
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of diagnostic equipment used in optometry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and deliver quality patient care.
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate patient records.
- A bachelor's degree in Optometry or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Prior experience in retail or clinical optometry settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
