Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, assess vision health concerns, and assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear. They will be responsible for educating patients on proper eye care, ensuring accurate prescriptions, and recommending treatments or products as needed. The role also involves maintaining equipment, consulting with other healthcare professionals, and delivering excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and assessing visual standards
- Knowledge of recommending and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments
- Strong communication, customer service, and patient education skills
- Expertise in handling diagnostic equipment and tools used in optometry
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or Optometric Sciences
- Up-to-date knowledge of vision care trends and regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in the optical industry or eye care field is advantageous
