Role Description

We are offering an on-site internship opportunity for an Optoelectronic Design Engineer, located in Ambala (Haryana), to contribute in the design and validation of highperformance electrooptics systems. This role provides handson exposure todesign the optical part of a laser-based product, that includes both the transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) paths. You will work with components like beam splitters, optical lenses/filters, beam collimation and photodetectors, ensuring everything is well-integrated, precise, and meets safety standards.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./M.Tech. in optoelectronics or related fields with 0-3 year of relevant industry experience.
• Interest in solving complex design challenges in optoelectronics.
• Strong background in optics, optoelectronics, and photonics system design
• Experience with laser diodes, thermal detector, beam splitters, optical filters, and photodetectors.
• Experience with optomechanical design and alignment
• Skilled in optical modelling and simulation tools
• Familiarity with eye-safe laser design.
• Ensure the system follows laser safety standards.
• Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams
• Document the design and setup process
