This role will work closely with the Global Head of Performance Management and Global Head of Wholesale Operations -
Performance Management
- Drive improvements relating to measurement of performance measures ensure all areas are captured and reported.
- Perform trend and root cause analysis of performance measures, to drive enhancements and improve the controls / efficiency.
- Represent performance management in relevant meetings with stakeholders to discuss projects, issues and outstanding items.
Change Management
- Oversee the execution of projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Partner with local and global stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and balance resources across diverse pool of projects.
- Lead teams in developing and managing robust reporting and analytics frameworks to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Promote the use of data-driven decision-making to support organizational objectives.
Other Coordination & Governance Activities
- Candidate should be able to understand a set of concepts and translate this into materials that articulate a clear message with supporting arguments and data sets.
- Prepare presentation materials ready to be consumed by senior operations executive management and other senior management.
- Assist in the coordination of workshops. Liaison with participants, gathering and preparation of relevant materials, coordination of logistics.
Management
- Develop strong working relationships with global functional service leads and IT partners.
- Further develop the Performance Management function in Powai and manage the evolving team.
- Partner with the existing Regional Heads of Performance Management help drive forward the global agenda.
Mentor junior staff on best practices regarding project management tools
Skills, experience, qualifications / knowledge required:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Quality & Governance, Model Creation, Data Mining concepts and practical applications.
- The candidate should have proficient understanding of business intelligence tools and apply strategic thought process in creation and designing of new age solutions.
- Candidate should have proven track record of delivering data-driven insights that impact business decisions while collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- More importantly, candidate should stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in BI and analytics and provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Strong understanding of Operations in a large multinational financial services firm.
- Proven track record of developing, maintaining strong trust-based relationships with a variety of managers, large teams, and key decision-making stakeholders.
- Must be collaborative, strategic, and energetic in their day to day.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, excellent judgement and attention to detail.
- Very strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects, and competing requests simultaneously.
- Innovative mind-set, with the desire to challenge the status quo and drive forward change.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations and speaking points.
- Desire to build strong business acumen and presentation skills.
Must have:
- Expert knowledge and application of BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, JIRA, Confluence and Python
- Experience with cloud-based BI solutions, knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics is must.
