Client & Tender Specification Awareness
- Understand and interpret tender specifications and client-specific requirements for all project components.
- Ensure alignment of project execution with client expectations and technical specifications.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Maintain and update quality records in accordance with the approved Field Quality Plan (FQP) and material approvals.
- Ensure that all executed work meets the defined quality standards.
- Prepare, maintain, and implement the Standard Field Quality Plan (SFQP) as approved by the client.
- Update QA/QC documentation based on client modifications including methods, material sources, or procedural changes.
- Prepare and review the Quality Assurance Manual ensuring adherence to construction best practices and procedures.
Concrete Work & Batching Plant Oversight
- Review and prepare mix designs for Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) and Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC).
- Oversee erection and calibration of the batching plant as per IS:4925 and ensure compliance with mix design and specifications.
- Control batching operations to maintain quality and consistency.
Material Testing & Inspection
- Conduct material testing (coarse and fine aggregate, steel, cement, soil) as per IS Codes and FQP guidelines.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all testing activities.
- Carry out inspections for water supply pipelines and ensure compliance with quality norms.
- Conduct regular site and store visits to monitor material handling and prevent site deviations.
Meetings & Coordination
- Participate in quality review meetings with the employer/client to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between quality teams and site execution to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Team Management & Training
- Provide training to the quality assurance team on IS codes, amendments, and quality best practices.
- Conduct daily reviews of lab equipment, documentation files, and ensure availability of up-to-date quality reports.
Client Satisfaction & Compliance
- Ensure all works meet the required standards for quality and client satisfaction.
- Verify material testing is performed according to IS codes or client-specific requirements.
