Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OPICS Developer with strong technical and functional expertise in treasury and capital markets systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in OPICS implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customization. This role requires deep knowledge of treasury workflows, database management, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot OPICS online processes and End-of-Day (EOD) batch tasks
- Support business users in maintaining static data across branch-specific and global screens
- Analyze and resolve system errors by reviewing logs and identifying root causes
- Design and document functional and technical solutions for new business requirements
- Recreate and analyze business issues in UAT environments and coordinate resolution
- Identify and troubleshoot database-related issues across OPICS modules
- Provide user training on new modules and system enhancements
- Test and implement system workarounds and patches
- Support functional testing and upgrades, including reconciliation across versions
- Develop custom reports using SQL and OPICS reporting tools
- Troubleshoot system interfaces using TCP/IP, SFTP, and MQ mechanisms
- Support upstream and downstream integrations with treasury-related systems
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with OPICS 4.9.x or similar treasury platforms
- Strong understanding of Treasury and Capital Market products
- In-depth knowledge of the treasury trade lifecycle and workflows
- Strong SQL expertise (queries, reporting, database troubleshooting)
- Solid understanding of .NET/C# architecture
- Experience in system integration and interface troubleshooting
- Knowledge of accounting events and system setup in treasury applications
- Familiarity with modules such as FX, FI, Repo, Swaps, OTC, Caps & Floors
- Exposure to Islamic Banking products (Sukuk, Wakala, Tawarruq, Murabaha) is an advantage

- Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
