An Ophthalmologist OPD plays a critical role in providing specialized medical care for patients with eye-related ailments. Key responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for various eye disorders
  • Performing surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery and laser eye surgery
  • Prescribing medications and corrective eyewear to address vision problems
  • Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
  • Advising patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive eye care measures
  • Collaborating with optometrists, other specialists, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certification in Ophthalmology
  • A valid state medical license and registration to practice as an Ophthalmologist in Delhi
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions
  • Excellent surgical skills with proficiency in ophthalmic surgical procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
