Job Summary
The OPEX Specialist will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on execution of process improvement projects, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver measurable results in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in manufacturing operations, be skilled in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies, and excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze production data, monitor KPIs, and identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement solutions and ensure project success.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for process deviations, downtime, and quality issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and mentor shopfloor teams and supervisors on best practices in operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present clear reports and dashboards to communicate project progress and results to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on the shopfloor.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Follow up on action items from meetings and drive timely execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field).
- 58 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
- Good knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), 7QC tools, and data-driven problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across levels.
- Demonstrated action orientation and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Experience in training or mentoring teams on process improvement is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience in FMCG, automotive, or process manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with shopfloor data collection and real-time analytics.
Salary & Benefits
