Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for Operations in the USA Trade Lane at Alisped India Pvt. Ltd. The role involves managing and coordinating transportation activities for the USA trade lane, overseeing shipment planning and execution, and ensuring compliance with international freight and logistics policies. The candidate will interact with clients to address their requirements, liaise with customs and other regulatory bodies, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize service delivery.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of air and sea freight operations, international logistics, and transportation processes
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage shipments and operational challenges effectively
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in IT tools and software relevant to logistics and operations
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across departments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role, specifically focused on USA trade lanes, is an advantage
