Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliation Operations
- Perform daily and periodic reconciliations across Credit Card and UPI transaction systems.
- Support GL accounting reconciliation including monitoring of receivables, settlement and fee accounts.
- Prepare and validate GEFU/TTUM files for settlement postings.
- Identify reconciliation breaks, mismatches or exceptions and coordinate with internal technology, finance, and operations teams for resolution.
- Maintain reconciliation trackers and ensure timely closure of identified discrepancies
- Dispute and Chargeback Processing
- Manage end-to-end dispute and chargeback processing for credit card and UPI transactions as per network and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with partner banks, card networks, and payment gateways to track and resolve disputes within defined timelines.
- Maintain dispute logs, track TAT adherence, and assist in identifying recurring operational issues.
- Banking Partner Coordination
- Act as a point of contact for operational queries from banking partners.
- Support partner banks during reconciliation reviews, issue resolution, and operational reporting.
- Escalate operational issues internally to ensure timely resolution and SLA adherence.
- Controls & Compliance
- Ensure operational processes adhere to RBI, NPCI, and card network guidelines related to settlements, reconciliations, and disputes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for operational processes and ensure audit readiness.
- Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Reporting & Operational Tracking
- Prepare daily reconciliation reports, operational trackers, and exception reports.
- Support management reporting and MIS related to transaction processing, disputes, and reconciliation status.
- Assist in root cause analysis for recurring operational breaks.
Required Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
Required Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in fintech, banking operations or payment processing environments.
- Exposure to card operations, UPI transactions, or payment systems preferred.
- Experience in reconciliation processes, settlement files or dispute management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of cards and UPI transaction lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Excel and reconciliation analysis (SQL exposure is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination across internal teams and banking partners.
- Ability to work in high-volume transaction environments with attention to detail.

Himanshu Agrawal - Himanshu is the Co-Founder and the Head of Technology. He is from IIT Kanpur and has more than 14 yrs of experience working with organisations like Amazon and DE Shaw.
Puneet Sharma - Puneet is the Co-Founder and the Head of Product. He is from IIT Roorkee and has more than 10 years of experience working with organisations like BharatPe, Avail Finance
