Role Summary

As our Operations Sourcing Executive, you will be the strategic backbone of our supply chain, ensuring seamless access to high-quality materials at optimal costs. You will manage critical vendor relationships and build resilient sourcing strategies to support Printerpix's rapid growth and expansion into new markets, operating from Bangalore, India.

What You'll Build

• Strategic Vendor Partnerships: You'll identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for key product categories (e.g., printing materials, packaging, gifting components) crucial to our e-commerce business. This isn't just managing existing vendors; you'll build a robust network that can scale with our ambitious growth.
• Cost Optimization & Value Creation: Lead negotiations for contracts, ensuring best-in-class pricing, quality, and service levels. Your work will directly impact our profitability and ability to offer competitive prices to our customers, processing high-volume procurement across diverse categories.
• Resilient Supply Chain Architecture: Implement strategies for risk mitigation, ensuring uninterrupted supply even amidst market volatility. You'll analyze market trends and supplier performance data to proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation within our global supply ecosystem.
• Data-Driven Procurement: Utilize data analysis to track supplier KPIs on cost, quality, and delivery, identifying bottlenecks and driving continuous process improvements. You'll leverage procurement software to streamline workflows and provide actionable insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our manufacturing, operations, and product teams to forecast material needs, manage inventory, and align sourcing strategies with production plans, impacting thousands of orders daily.
  
  

Your First 90 Days

• Week 1: Immerse yourself in Printerpix's product catalog and core e-commerce operations. Meet the Operations, Production, and Finance teams; understand current sourcing challenges and immediate needs. Gain access to our procurement systems and active vendor contracts.
• Month 1: Conduct a deep dive into existing high-priority vendor relationships, evaluating contract terms, performance, and spend. Identify 1-2 immediate opportunities for process optimization or cost savings within a specific product category. Begin market research to identify alternative suppliers for a key material currently with a single source.
• Month 3: Take ownership of negotiating renewals or new contracts for at least two critical suppliers, demonstrating tangible cost savings or improved terms. Present a comprehensive sourcing strategy for a new product line or market expansion, outlining potential vendors, timelines, and risk mitigation plans. Be fully integrated into our operational planning cycle, contributing proactively to demand forecasting and inventory management decisions.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 2-10 years in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management, ideally within a fast-paced e-commerce or manufacturing environment.
• Vendor Management: You've successfully managed 10+ critical vendor relationships, holding them accountable to SLAs and driving performance improvements.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of securing favourable terms and cost reductions in high-stakes B2B negotiations. You're comfortable with multi-round negotiations for both products and services.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Experience implementing strategies to reduce lead times, improve quality, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. You understand the levers that impact an e-commerce fulfillment pipeline.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze large datasets (e.g., spend analysis, supplier performance, market pricing) to inform sourcing decisions and identify strategic opportunities. You'll present data-backed recommendations weekly.
• Contract Management: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and enforcing supply agreements, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
• Procurement Software: Hands-on experience with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar ERP/P2P systems).
• Market Research: Skill in identifying new suppliers, understanding market dynamics, and evaluating geopolitical factors that impact global sourcing.
• Stakeholder Communication: You can articulate complex sourcing strategies and negotiate effectively with both internal teams (operations, finance, product) and external vendors.
