Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operations for electrical and home appliance products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain, inventory, vendor coordination, service operations, and process optimization to ensure efficient business performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of electrical and home appliance business including procurement, inventory, and distribution
- Oversee warehouse operations, stock planning, and inventory control to minimize losses and optimize availability
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners for timely procurement and delivery
- Ensure smooth functioning of after-sales service, installation, and customer support processes
- Monitor product quality, returns, and service issues; implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare MIS reports for management review
- Handle team management including hiring, training, and performance monitoring of operational staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operations with business goals
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical products / home appliances operations
- Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and vendor management
- Good understanding of service operations and customer handling
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Experience in electrical appliances, consumer durables, or electronics industry preferred
